Notary Log
Looking for a great record book? Well, look no further. INM has
created a one-of-a-kind record book and it pertains to Maine law only. Have
you looked in supply stores and online only to find lots of extra
requirements that Maine doesn't even use?
The INM book has 160 pages with room for two transactions per page. This is
preferred by many notaries because it is easier to cover up if someone is
hanging over your shoulder trying to look at other entries in your book.
In the beginning of the INM log book, you will find procedures on how to
perform a notary transaction, the type of information you need to record in
the book for notarizations and weddings, tips on proper identification and a
description of a credible witness. The most helpful information in the
front of the book is the sample jurat statements, acknowledgements,
certifications, oaths and affirmations. If you have ever been asked to
notarize a document that has no place for a notary to sign, you can now use
these samples to type in the appropriate statement.
