National Notary Public Day is traditionally celebrated in November. To honor the dedicated notaries public in Maine, INM would like to offer a free notary public education workshop.

This workshop is not meant to replace the more detailed workshops and educational classes held throughout the year, but to complement them. Any changes in notarial law will be discussed as well as a brief overview of the notary public's duties in the State of Maine .

Notaries Public who specialize in areas such as Weddings, Adult Education, and Mobile Notaries will be available to answer questions and offer advice.

Speakers will include Maine Secretary of State Charles E. Summers, Deputy Secretary of State Julie Flynn, and State Notary Officer & Director of the Division of Corporations, UCC & Commissions, Cathy Beaudoin.
